Kumail Nanjiani talking about his diet said, “Basically, it’s five days of low-carb, then over the weekend you eat as much as you want”.

For ‘Eternals’, Kumail Nanjiani was trained by Grant Roberts who puts a higher emphasis on protein and dietary fats for his clients macronutrients to build muscle and lose fat.

“The ultimate diet will consist of 55 percent fats, 35 percent proteins and 10 percent carbohydrates.” he said. “The problem is that most people have this model backwards, eating nearly 65 percent carbohydrates, 25 percent fats and 10 percent proteins. This is what’s making them gain unwanted body fat”.

Trainer Grant Roberts speaking on Kumail Nanjiani nutrition:

‘It was a high protein diet, also high fat, healthy fat diet and of course you need the carbs for the energy to get through the workout”.

Grant Roberts stated that Kumail Nanjiani’s diet involved, “great nutrition, emphasising protein, water, healthy fats like omega-3’s and just enough carbs without spilling over”.
