I’ve created a Jared Leto Joker Workout to get you rocking the same look! The first thing that stands out in Jared Leto’s physique for his role as Joker in ‘Suicide Squad’ is his back, specifically his wide lats. The ‘V-Taper’ really stands out. Perfect form push ups will carve out a wide chest and boulder shoulders which in turn will shape the ‘V-Taper’ look as the back starts to ‘stand out in relief’. Additional back work can be done in the form of:

  • Pull Ups
  • Chin Ups
  • Australian Pull Ups / Inverted Rows
  • Dumbbell Rows
  • Lat Pulldowns
  • Machine Rows
  • Resistance Band Rows
  • Kettlebell Rows

Vary through the above to add extra work to your back to build upon the V-Taper that the push ups workout will be shaping.

Monday

  • Regular Push Ups (5 x 10)

  • Diamond Push Ups (5 x 10)
  • Light Dumbbell Flys (4 x 25)
  • Light Dumbbell Tricep Extensions (4 x 25)
  • 10,000 daily steps

Wednesday

  • Regular Push Ups (5 x 10)
  • Light Dumbbell Rows (4 x 25)
  • Light Dumbbell Alternating Bicep Curls (4 x 25)
  • Light Dumbbell Alternating Hammer Curls
  • Bodyweight Squats (10 x 10)
  • 10,000 daily steps

Friday

  • Regular Push Ups (5 x 10)
  • Incline Push Ups (feet elevated) (10 x 10)
  • Light Dumbbell Shoulder Press (4 x 25)
  • Light Dumbbell Lateral Raise (4 x 10)
  • 10,000 daily steps

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays enjoy active rest and recovery, aim for 5,000 – 10,000 daily steps along with yoga/pilates (Jared Leto is big on yoga) and static and dynamic stretches found in the Hollywood Movie Star Program.

  1. After going through many of your workout routines I finally did your Joker workout. That pulling workout is one of the toughest you have put together… I love it! My lats are burning, which is a good thing.
