Alan Ritchson got even more jacked for ‘Reacher’. Alan Ritchson trained with push ups, pull ups, dips, sit ups and running before ‘Reacher’ and added bodybuilding weight training for both Season 1 and Season 2 of ‘Reacher‘. He also ate lots of cookie dough!

Alan Ritchson Bodyweight Workout
I’ve put together a full body Alan Ritchson full body bodyweight workout which had him muscular and lean even before playing Jack Reacher in Amazon Prime’s ‘Reacher’!
- Chin Ups/Pull Ups (5 x 10)
- Push Ups (10 x 20)
- Tricep Dips (10 x 10)
- Inverted Rows (10 x 10-20)
- Squats (10 x 10)
- Sprints
Along with the Alan Ritchson full body bodyweight workout, add in daily walks for active recovery and my dynamic and static stretching routine found in the Hollywood Movie Star Program!
Reacher Workout and Diet – Season 1
Alan Ritchson was in great shape for Reacher, Season 1 by building on his already very solid foundations from his bodyweight workouts! Alan Ritchson added more muscle mass for the role by adding in weight training and upping his calories.
Reacher Season 1 – Workout A (Pull)
- Dumbbell Rows (10 x 10)
- Lat Pull Down (10 x 10)
- Bicep Curls (10 x 10-15)
Reacher Season 1 – Workout B (Push)
- Dumbbell Chest Press (10 x 10)
- Dumbbell Shoulder Press (10 x 10-15)
- Tricep Extensions (10 x 10-15)
- Squats (10 x 10-15) (alternate exercises for legs by adding a movement to either Workout A or Workout B)
